Another FOEM remix contest, this time with the collaboration of Seta Label. You have the opportunity of remix a big Canadian artist: Pheek owner of Archipel, played by Richie Hawtin, Magda…). Fantastic prizes by the way…

What to do: Remix the track. 2 remixes per artist is maximum

Style: No glitchy boundaries at all

Prizes: One digital release on Pheek’s EP on Seta Label
Optionally 1 complete EP release on Seta Label
15 free tracks from Seta Label back catalogue
1 hour mix broadcast on Housemusic.sk, Echolovers.fm and Play.fm
Broadcast of the winning track on several radio stations worldwide
1 hour mix broadcast and also a 10 minutes phone interview on
the national Slovak radio station show ’4elements’
1 hour mix broadcast on ‘Melodica’ show on GlobalBeats.fm
The winning remix will first be 8 weeks exclusively on Beatport,
then spread via more than 300 online music stores

Schedule: September 1 to November 30, 2009 (3 full months)

Jury: Pheek and the Seta Label team

Material: Get all samples on the FOEM forum

Submit: Upload the remixes on the FOEM forum

Don’t send your tracks directly to the artist or the label

Make your very own style
Take your time to remix, remember, a winning track takes time
Master your track but keep a raw version so Seta Label can master it
No legal recourse. The judges’ decisions are final
Do some serious club shit
