Burn Studios starts a new remix contest looking for talented producers. Remix the track The Sound of Violence by Cassius to win a release on the label, a complete M-Audio Project Studio worth over 2000.00€ and a Pro Plus SoundCloud Account!

To ignite creativity in music production, Burn Studios has launched the first in a series of stand out remix competitions.
The first track up for transformation is the anthem ‘Sound of Violence’ by Burn Studios’ ambassadors Cassius. This monumental record is due for re-release in September 2010 with remixes from Aeroplane, Luciano and Fedde Le Grand, which the winning remix will be released alongside. Winners will also receive a massive M-Audio prize package and SoundCloud Pro Plus account [...]
Cassius will pick the winning remix from the entire submission list of entries. The five runners up will be chosen based on the top five most played remixes, so get ears on it.

It’s a great base, but the vocal stems (at least the girls’) are really crappy, if you pardon. Official vocals should never leak the audio of the track. In this one, you don’t even have to turn the volume up to hear the original beats and guitars playing over the vocals. Sorry, I would really like to work on this one, but it’s impossible with that quality…
