New remix contest by Beatport, after the big remix competitions by The Black Eyed Peas and Depeche Mode, this time yo have the chance to remix one of the world’s biggest trance artists: Tiësto. I think I don’t have to introduce him…don’t I?
Important! The competition has several stages: download phase, submission and voting phase. Read the terms carefully to point this out.
Here some details:
Following two huge remix contests with Depeche Mode and Black Eyed Peas, Beatport.com has teamed up with one of the world’s biggest DJs – Tiësto from The Netherlands, for a new producer challenge.
The Dutch superstar DJ – who was crowned the World’s No.1 DJ in the world by readers of DJ Magazine between 2002 and 2004 – is offering Beatport users the chance to remix the single ‘Knock You Out’ feat. Emily Haines, taken from his new album ‘Kaleidoscope’.
This is the first time that Tiësto (widely considered to be one of the most popular DJ the world has ever seen), has made parts to one of his original productions available to the public, and he has also pledged to release three of the best remixes on Ultra and PIAS Records, helping to kick start the careers of three aspiring producers.
Up to three winning remixes will by released on Ultra and PIAS Records. The top winning remix will also receive:
